Like any sane man, he calls his girlfriend--Lola will know what to do! Employing staples of pop sci-fi along with a variety of avant-garde techniques, running, red-haired riot grrrl Lola takes the narrative into her own hands, replaying events until she gets it right. She charges through a flock of nuns (take that, Catholicism!), robs a huge bank (take that, Capitalism!), and stops a roulette wheel with her glass-shattering scream (take that, Chance!), and all opponents are mown down by her openness, crazed optimism, and a firm belief in the endless possibilities of true love.
